Installation
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
- To unlock the gate simply slide the catch away from the lock and lift the gate slightly.
The gate can be opened in either direction.
- The Alcalá gate has a barrier that closes automatically.
To lock the gate, lift it and work the catch, allowing the gate to drop into the top and
bottom lock. Once aligned correctly, you should hear a "CLICK" sound which will indicate
that the gate is locked into place.
In order to ensure a much more stable installation, you should use the wall cups between
the spindle rods and the walls. Use the washers and screws to x them in place.
Before using this product, please check the following:
- Open the gate and ensure that it closes automatically.
- Check the gate remains locked in position when closed.
- Check that the lower rod ts correctly into the opening of the barrier threshold sill.
- Check that no components are missing.
If you encounter any problems while carrying out the above checks, we recommend
reinstalling the product.
MAINTENANCE
Clean your barrier using a damp cloth and soap. Dry the barrier immediately with a
dry cloth.
When not in use, store the barrier in a dry, clean place away from strong sunlight or
sources of heat.
