VERY IMPORTANT! TO BE READ IMMEDIATELY.
THIS IS A "UNIVERSAL" CHILD RESTRAINT. IT IS APPROVED TO REGULATION Nº
44, 04 SERIES OF AMENDMENTS, FOR GENERAL USE IN VEHICLES AND IT WILL
FIT MOST, BUT NOT ALL, CAR SEATS.
A CORRECT FIT IS LIKELY IF THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER HAS DECLARED IN
THE VEHICLE HANDBOOK THAT THE VEHICLE IS CAPABLE OF ACCEPTING A
"UNIVERSAL" CHILD RESTRAINT FOR THIS AGE GROUP.
THIS CHILD RESTRAINT HAS BEEN CLASSIFIED AS "UNIVERSAL" UNDER MORE
STRINGENT CONDITIONS THAN THOSE WHICH APPLIED TO EARLIER DESIGNS
WHICH DO NOT CARRY THIS NOTICE.
IF IN DOUBT, CONSULT EITHER THE CHILD RESTRAINT MANUFACTURER OR
THE RETAILER.
ONLY SUITABLE IF THE APPROVED VEHICLES ARE FITTED 3 POINT/WITH
RETRACTOR SAFETY-BELTS, APPROVED TO UN/ECE REGULATION Nº 16 OR
OTHER EQUIVALENT STANDARDS.
1. WARNINGS
• Read these instructions carefully before assembling and installing the product. Do not
allow anybody that has not read the instructions to use the product.
• The risk of serious injuries to your child increases, not only in the case of accidents, but
also in other circumstances (sudden braking etc.), if these instructions are not followed
carefully: always check that the child car seat is correctly secured to the vehicle's seat.
• Keep this instruction booklet for future reference.
• The vehicle seat must be fitted with a 3-point retractable safety belt compliant with
UN/ECE Regulation nº 16, or other equivalent standards (Fig. 1-1).
• Never fit the child car seat to a seat that is only equipped with a 2-point seat belt.
• Each country has di erent safety laws and regulations for the transportation of
children in vehicles. For this reason, contact your local authorities for further
information.
• Any rigid items and plastic parts of the child car seat must be so located and installed
that they are no liable, during everyday use of the vehicle, to become trapped by
movable seat or in a door of vehicle.
• Even a minor accident can damage the child car seat, even if this damage is not visible
to the naked eye. It must therefore be replaced.
• If the child car seat is damaged, deformed or worn out, it must be replaced, as its
original safety features may have been compromised.
• This product must not be modified in any way unless the modification has been
approved by the manufacturer.
• Never leave the child unattended in the child car seat for any reason.
