Ensure there is suffi cient slack in the electrical cables, between the 2 clamps on
the wall and door of the battery box. Slack will allow door to open fully and prevent
damage to the cables.
11. If home run cable is too long, cut cable length to fi t, and splice wire
ends together with butt splices (Kit items) (FIG. 13-1A). Secure
cable to battery box with metal clamps (Kit items) (FIG. 13-1). Use
pre-drilled holes in battery box to attach cable clamps (FIG. 13-1).
