01. DESCRIPTION
Elma electric griddles are appliances designed for domestic use. Their
technical specifications enable uniform cooking conditions with homogeneous
heat distribution over the entire active surface. Includes a detachable grease
drip tray ideal for diet cooking.

02. BEFORE INSTALLATION

2.1. General recommendations

- Read this instruction sheet carefully every time you intend to use the device
and keep it in a safe place for future reference.
- Check that the appliance is in good condition with special attention to the
electrical connections. Contact the distributor where you acquired the product
in the event of any anomaly.
- Before connecting the device to the power supply check that the voltage
indicated is the same as that of your local network.
- Use only on level, heatproof surfaces.
- Keep clear of flammable materials (paper, curtains, etc.).
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is operating.
- Disconnect after every use. To do so, pull on the plug or connector. To avoid
damage, refrain from pulling on the electric cord.
- The temperature regulator is a highly sensitive component. Protect it from falls
and impacts which could cause damage.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
- Never submerge in water when connected.

2.2. Recommendations for use

- Clean and dry the appliance before use.
- Refrain from touching the metal surface when the appliance is being used.
Use the cool-touch handles.
- Do not touch the plate with sharp or abrasive objects (such as knives, forks,
etc.) as this may damage the non-stick coating.
- Keep the cord and temperature regulator clear of all liquids. Refrain from
twisting or bending the cord while the appliance is working.
- Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug are damaged. In this case contact
the distributor where you acquired the product.
- If the temperature regulator fails while the appliance is in use, turn it off
immediately and contact the technical service.
- The use of accessories not included in the package may cause damage,
including fire.
- Always use the temperature regulator (Figure 2) that comes with the griddle.
Using different accessories may cause damage.

FUNCTION OF THE ELECTRIC GRIDDLE
This appliance may only be used to cook food. It is not approved for uses
different from those specified by the manufacturer.
INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
It is recommendable to place the electric griddle on a firm level surface to avoid
rocking or vibrations during operation. It must always be installed in the interior,
well clear of moisture, heat sources and areas containing flammable materials.
Maintain a safety distance of at least 15 cm between the appliance and any
vertical surface.
