Assembly instructions
1. Ensure pinion (3) and motor shaft are clean and free from grease.
2. Apply high strength retainer 638 to the pinion bore hole, taking
care not to use an excessive amount.
3. Push the pinion onto the motor shaft using a twisting motion until
the pinion is against the retainer.
4. Ensure the retainer does not contaminate the motor or the gear
teeth.
5. Allow to set.

6. Place mounting plate (2) onto front flange of motor so that the
holes align. Secure with the screws (5) provided, taking care not
to strip threads. For a permanent fixing use a high strength
retainer.
7. Remove protective cap from gearhead and ensure that the thrust
washer is in place against the first stage of the gearhead.
8. Mate gearhead to motor by tightening clockwise. Again for a
permanent fixing use a thread lock, ensuring the gearhead is not
contaminated.
