5.3 Removing the battery

1. Press the battery release buttons.
2. Remove the battery from the tool.
5.4 Fitting the socket
CAUTION
Risk of injury through use of the wrong type of accessory tool!
▶ Do not use worn or damaged accessory tools.
CAUTION
Risk of injury By worn or damaged locking ring
▶ Never use a worn or damaged locking ring.
1. Set the forward/reverse switch to the middle position or remove the
battery from the power tool.
2. Place the socket on the square drive spindle of the tool.
Turn the socket until the hole in the recess of the socket is in line
with the hole in the square drive spindle.
3. If the following conditions are met, also take this action:
Conditions: With O-ring and locking pin.
▶ Remove the O-ring from the groove in the socket. Insert the locking
pin into the holes in the socket and the square drive spindle. Then
re-insert the O-ring in the groove in the socket.
4. If the following conditions are met, also take this action:
Conditions: With locking ring.
▶ Fit the locking ring into the socket.
5.5 Removing the socket
1. Set the forward/reverse switch to the middle position or remove the
battery from the power tool.
2. Remove the locking ring or the O-ring complete with locking pin from the
socket.
3. Remove the socket from the square drive spindle of the tool.
5.6 Fitting the belt hook (optional)
WARNING
Risk of injury! Hazard presented by a falling power tool.
▶ A falling power tool may present a risk of injury to yourself and others.
Check that the belt hook is fitted securely before beginning work.
