Special safety instructions
1.
Prior to use, check tool for damaged or faulty parts or other conditions that will degrade the operation of the tool.
Never use tool if damaged or adjusted incorrectly. Any damaged safety features, starter switch or other faulty
parts are to be repaired or replaced by an authorised service engineer, provided there are no other instructions
in this manual. Never use tool with faulty starter switch.

Use screw clamps or a vice to secure the workpieces to be machined. Always use both hands to operate the
tool.

If the tool suddenly feels different (level of vibration) or produces a different noise (pitch), the tool should be shut
down immediately and the MBX
damage.

Electrical safety
1.
Never subject the tool to rain. Never work with the tool in a damp or wet environment. Keep your workplace well
illuminated for maximum safety. Ensure water never enters the electrical tool, as this situation would increase
the risk of electrical shock.
2.
Protect yourself against electric shock. Avoid contact with earthed surfaces such as pipework, radiator systems,
radio systems and cooling systems.
3.
If you are working with the tool outdoors, only use extension cables that are approved for work outdoors and that
are marked as such (see page 10 Extension cable).
4.
When you are using electrical tools, always take all basic safety precautions to prevent injuries due to electric
shocks that could place your life and the lives of others at risk.
