Replacing the carbon brushes
1.
Undo the screw for the rear housing and pull the rear
housing off the body of the machine.
2.
Pull the connector out of the "Faston" terminal on the
brush holder flap.
3.
Lift the top part of the brush ring by pressing on the
top part of the carbon brushes. Use a pliers or a
similar tool for this task.
4.
Remove the worn carbon brushes from the brush
holder and fit new brushes.
5.
Re-fit the connector to the brush holder flap.
6.
Ensure the two carbon brushes are pressed by the
brush rings and that the connectors are connected
to the flaps.
7.
Re-fit the rear housing and fasten it with the screw.

1.
All service work on the tool is only to be undertaken by qualified workshop personnel or the dealer where you pur-
chased the tool. Repair or servicing by unqualified personnel may result in injuries and/or damage to the tool.
2.
Only use genuine spare parts on servicing this tool. If parts that are not approved are used or maintenance
instructions are not followed, the warranty will be rendered void and there may be a risk of injury.
