Enable Bluetooth functionality on your device (smartphone,
tablet or laptop computer).
Now search for the PS404 Bluetooth speaker and press "OK"
The default pin code, if asked for, is 0000 (four zeros).

Playing audio files from a UsB device or micro sD card
Select USB/micro SD mode by pressing the Input button (No. 11) on the front panel or the Mode button (No.
4) on the remote control. A voice prompt will be heard when USB/micro SD input is selected.
* The audio formats that can be played back on this system are MP3 and WAV.
Playing audio from an auxiliary input
Select Auxiliary mode by pressing the Input button (No. 11) on the front panel or the mode button (No. 4)
on the remote control. A voice prompt will be heard when Auxiliary input is selected.
Connect the cable with the 3.5 mm stereo plug to the AUX IN socket on the front panel.
Connect the cable with the 3.5 mm stereo plug to the music player.
Volume level adjustment
Volume level of this speaker can be adjusted in two ways: using an analogue volume adjustment knob on
the speaker or via digital sound level adjustment using the included remote control.
Some mobile Bluetooth devices will adjust digital volume level of the speaker automatically without

To achieve maximum loudness of the speaker, both digital and analogue volume levels
must be set to their highest positions. The highest volume level of digital adjustment will
be indicated as U15 on the display of the speaker.

If an audio signal and volume levels are too high, the playback of sound can become
distorted. This is not an indication of a defective device.

Guitar input

Plug your guitar cable into the GUITAR socket (Socket No. 2 on the back panel).
Set the MASTER VOLUME control to zero.
Turn the speaker ON using the ON/OFF switch.

Gradually turn the MASTER VOLUME up to your desired level.
* Use a good-quality screened/shielded guitar cable to help prevent noise interference.

Plug your microphone cable into the MIC socket (Socket No. 1 on the back panel).
Set the MIC VOLUME control to zero.

Turn the speaker ON using the ON/OFF switch.
Gradually turn the MIC VOLUME up to your desired volume level.
* Use a good-quality screened/shielded microphone cable to help prevent noise interference.
Presetting radio stations
Press the Play/Pause button (No. 9) on the front panel for automatic radio station presenting
or the Play/Pause button (No. 8) on the remote control. Radio stations in range will be stored
in the memory.
Battery care
Before using the device, make sure the battery is fully charged.
Charge after each use.
Make sure the battery is fully charged before storing the device.
Please ensure the battery is fully charged at least once per month.
Avoid full discharges as it will cause permanent damage to the battery.
Rechargeable batteries exhibit a gradual decrease in performance over their service life,
so a reduction in the initial battery capacity and playback time is not an indication of a
faulty battery or device.
Important safety Precautions
For the best results, place your speaker on a solid, flat surface when in use.
Do not touch the metallic parts of your connector cables.
In order to avoid electric shocks and other such accidents, do not dismantle or take apart
the speaker.
Do not expose your speaker to excessive amounts of heat or cold. Keep it in a well-
ventilated area to prevent it from overheating.
Turn off your speaker when you are not using it.
Do not spill liquids or fluids on your speaker.
When connecting an audio device to your speaker, make sure the volume on the audio
device is not set too high, in order to avoid excessive signal input.
This speaker should not be placed near open flames, such as lit candles.
