You can connect multiple
sources to your Beolit 12, either
using the connection panel or
wirelessly through your
network.
To access the connection panel,
push on the left side of the
back cover to open it. You find
instructions on how to set up
your Beolit 12 on the network,
behind the back cover.
The product label is placed on
the bottom of Beolit 12.
Priority of sources:
1. AirPlay
2. Sources connected to USB
3. Sources connected to LINE IN
Starting a source with higher
priority will always interrupt a
source with lower priority. A
source with higher priority must be
stopped, to start a source with
lower priority.
How to make connections
For safety reasons fasten the mains
cord behind the small peg, before
running it out from the cable
compartment. The mains cord can
be stored here.
~ Mains supply
Use the enclosed mains cord only.
Ethernet
Ethernet socket for a wired
connection or to make the setup of
your Beolit 12 with a wireless
network.
USB
For connection to an iPod or
iPhone.
LINE IN
Phono socket for connection of an
external audio source, for example,
an MP3 player or a computer.
Indicator light - battery
When in battery mode, green light
indicates that the power level of
the battery is high. Orange light
indicates a medium power level of
the battery and the battery needs
to be charged soon. Red light
indicates that the power level of
the battery is low and the battery
needs to be charged. If there is no

Connected to the mains supply
When connected to the mains
supply, no light indicates that the
battery is fully charged. Green light
indicates that the battery is
charged to a high level. Orange
light indicates that the battery is
charged to a medium level. Red
light indicates that the battery is
almost discharged.
