MOTOR PROGRAMMING
The Motor Kit F80 S Plus can be operated either with the button or with the remote control, both
devices are supplied with the motor. The Motor Kit is equipped with an automatic system that allows
the canopy to tension itself once it has been opened to the desired length.
Since the Motor Kit can be installed on awnings with different canopy extension (the size changes
according to the length of the canopy), this system must be "set" beforehand.
CONTROL UNIT PROGRAMMING
These are the steps to perform this operation:
- Disconnect the 12 V power supply to the control unit.
- Press and hold the EXTEND button.
- Restore the 12 V power supply; after a few seconds, the awning will start to open.
- When the awning is fully open, or has reached the desired opening, release the EXTEND button.
- Then press and hold the RETRACT button until the awning is completely closed.
USE WITH BUTTON (AUTOMATIC MODE)
- Press the EXTEND or RETRACT button for less than 2 seconds; when the button is released the
awning will start to open until the desired opening (the self-tensioning of the canopy is active) or to
close completely.
USE WITH BUTTON (MANUAL MODE)
- Press the EXTEND or RETRACT button for more than 2 seconds; the awning will start to open or
close (once the button is released the motor will stop running).
- In this mode the self-tensioning of the canopy is not active.
It is possible to use the two modes alternatively: for the passage from the automatic to the manual
one you must always wait for the complete opening or closing of the awning; for the passage from
the manual to the automatic one *(initial opening) just release the button and resume it for less than 2
seconds. If the control is for closing the awning will close completely, if the control is for opening the
awning will open until the desired opening. The motor will continue running for a few seconds and at the
end the canopy will be self-tensioned.
USE WITH REMOTE CONTROL
- Before using the remote control, connect the sensor to the control unit (Fig. 10-13) and remove the
protective fi lm from the remote control (Fig. 14).
- The remote control only works after programming the control unit.
- Press the EXTEND or RETRACT button to open or close the awning in automatic mode only.
CAUTION:
The opening of the motorized awning should be made as for a non-motorized awning, i.e., opening the
lead bar by about 1 meter and then lowering the legs so as not to force the wall of the vehicle and then
complete the opening of the awning.
