Building the shelf assembly
□ Insert and tighten 4 cam lock dowels (BB) into the left and right side
interior panels (B & C). Make sure the threaded side is facing down
so you can insert and tighten each cam lock dowel (BB) into each
hole.
□ Insert 4 wood dowels (AA) into the unthreaded holes in left and right
side interior panels (B & C).
□ Line up the wood dowels (AA) and the cam lock dowels (BB) in the
left and right side interior panels (B & C) with the holes in the central
shelf (F). Push together the left and right side interior panels (B & C)
with the central shelf (F) until flush.
□ Insert 4 cam locks (CC) into the holes on the underside of the central
shelf (F). Make sure the arrows on the cam locks (CC) are facing out
toward the left and right side interior panels (B & C). Turn the cam
locks (CC) to tighten. Do not strip the cam locks by over tightening.

Attaching the shelf assembly to the base
nOTe: The assembly is heavy. It is recommended that you use
two people at this stage to prevent damage to the top of the mantel
assembly.
□ Line up and insert the cam lock dowels (BB) in the base (A) with the
holes in the bottom of the left and right side interior panels (B & C),
and push down on the shelf assembly until flush with the base (A).
□ Insert 4 cam locks (CC) into the holes on the bottom of the left and
right side interior panels (B & C). Make sure the arrows on the cam
locks (CC) are facing down toward the base (A). Turn the cam locks
(CC) to tighten. Do not strip the cam locks by over tightening.
□ Insert 4 cam lock covers (DD) onto the cam locks (CC) in the bottom
of the left and right side interior panels (B & C).
