Stopping the engine
Switch off or disconnect all electrical
equipment before stopping the engine.
Place the switches (7, 8) in the OFF position.
Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
Turn the petrol cock to OFF.
Before use
Start the engine as described above and
allow it to idle for approx. 3 minutes.
Check the engine runs smoothly and that
there are no abnormal sounds or vibrations.
Stop the engine and have it checked by an
authorised workshop if anything abnormal
occurs.
Use
Connect a heavy-duty cable between the
generator's earth terminal (11) and an
external earth connection.
Connect the devices to be powered to the
power outlets (9, 10, 12).
Set the main switch for the power outlets to
the ON position. Start the connected devices
one at a time, never simultaneously. Start the
device that uses most power rst.
Never use oodlights with other types of
electrical equipment.
If a device is defective, runs too slowly or
suddenly stops when connected to the
generator, switch it off immediately. Check
the connected device for defects.
NB! Stay within the rated power limit of the
generator as far as possible.
If the generator's 12 V outlet is overloaded,
the circuit breaker will trigger and switch off
the generator. Switch off the engine, turn off
one or more of the connected appliances
and press the reset button (8). Restart the
generator and continue with a lower load.
The generator must not operate at maximum
output for more than 30 minutes!
Transport and storage
If the generator is not to be used for a
period longer than 2 months, the following
procedure must be performed before putting
it away:
Empty the fuel tank.
Empty the carburettor by loosening the
screw (A) and draining the petrol into a
suitable container.
A
Clean the outside of the generator.
Change the engine oil.
Remove the spark plug, and pour a few drops
of new engine oil into the hole by the spark
plug. Replace the spark plug, but do not
replace the spark plug cover.
Pull the starter handle so the engine turns
over 2-3 times.
Pull the starter handle slowly until you feel
