HOW TO REPLACE FILTERS
NOTE: Replacement filters can be purchased.
H-8653: HEPA filter; H-8562: Carbon filter.
1. Unplug unit.
2. Remove front panel by lifting up and away from unit.
(See Figure 3)

NOTE: The front panel is held in place by
magnets. Lift the front panel hard enough to
overpower the resistance of the magnets.
3. Remove plastic support frame by pulling on the
center tabs. Flex plastic support frame slightly to
release tabs at the top and bottom. (See Figure 4)

4. Remove and discard old filters.
To remove carbon filter, take
hold of filter at any place along
perimeter and remove. Repeat
on second filter. To remove
HEPA filter, after carbon filters
have been removed, take hold
of tab (See Figure 5) and pull
to release. Repeat on second
filter. Place replacement filters
in unit and gently press around
perimeter of filter to ensure
secure placement.

5. Replace plastic
6. Replace front panel by positioning panel slightly
SAFETY SHUT-OFF FEATURE
The unit will operate only with front panel in place. Do
not attempt to override this safety feature. If, after front
panel has been reinstalled, unit does not operate, remove
and reinstall front panel to assure proper placement.
7. To reset carbon filter notification, press and hold

NOTE: The HEPA filters must be placed in the
unit before the carbon filters. See Parts on
page 1 for a detailed illustration.

into tab slots and allowing magnets to securely lock
front panel into place. (See Figure 7)

sleep button for three seconds. To reset the HEPA
filter notification, press and hold auto button for
three seconds. The light will turn off confirming
indicator is reset. (See Figure 8)

NOTE: Do not operate without carbon and HEPA
Filters in place.
