6. Storage / Care

The PowerAccu should be stored
at a dry, elevated, frost-free,
locked up place, where children
have no access. Avoid direct
sunlight.
Never store while still attached
to a tool, this prevents misuse
and accidents.
Make sure the surface and
the contacts of the PowerAccu
always are clean and dry

7. Disposal / Recycling

These Accus
Ni-Cd
contain
nickel/cad-
mium cells.
After their lifetime have expired,
they may not be disposed of
as normal house rubbish, but
must be disposed of properly.
When working with the tool
the PowerAccu heats up; this is
normal and does not affect its
performance.
before connecting the charging
unit. When dirty clean them
with a soft, dry rag; never use
running water.
If you do not use the PowerAccu
for long periods of time, please
charge it completely before
storing. Since a gradual self-
discharge occurs, charge the
PowerAccu completely before
initial use after longer periods
of storage.
Please return the Accus to a
dealer who keeps the PowerAccu
24 Volt system from Brill or
send them directly to one of the
Brill Service Centres listed on
the rear.
