Special safety instructions
The bench circular saw is intended for
longitudinal and transverse cutting of
boards, battens, joists, wooden panels and
similar work items.
Do not use for cutting posts or logs.
Never stop the saw blade by pressing against
the saw, or by applying pressure to the side
of the saw blade.
Never use saw blades made of high-speed
steel.
Always use the correct type of blade for the
work at hand.
Never use blades with a maximum RPM less
than that of the tool.
Never use bent saw blades or saw blades that
have teeth missing.
Never use saw blades which are too big.
Never use a saw blade thicker than the
cleaving blade.
Use personal safety equipment, such as
hearing protectors, protective gloves and
safety goggles. If sawing materials that give
off � ne dust, use a face mask.
We recommend � tting extraction to reduce
the level of noise in the room.
Always use safety gloves when handling
the saw blade. Never place your hand in the
vicinity of the saw blade and never attempt
to remove materials from the work area
whilst the saw blade is spinning.
Use a piece of scrap wood to push the item
towards the blade if the distance between
blade and guide is less than 12 cm.
Never lock the blade guard in its open
position except when changing blades as
described below.
