 This device contains dust that is harm-
ful to your health. Emptying and main-
tenance, including removal of the dust
bag, may only be performed by tech-
nical specialists wearing suitable per-
sonal protective equipment.
 Do not operate the device without the
complete filtration system.
 Observe the applicable safety instruc-
tions for the materials being vacu-
umed.
 Apply the parking brake at the steer-
ing roller to ensure a secure footing
for the device. The device may move
uncontrollably if the parking brake is
open.

Startup

WARNING
Danger from dust that is harmful to your
health
Respiratory sicknesses through inhala-
tion of dust.
Do not vacuum without correctly installed filter ele-
ments, otherwise a danger to health from in-
creased fine dust emission is present.
ATTENTION
Escaping fine dust
Risk of damage to the suction motor.
Never remove the flat fold filter when vacuuming.

Anti-static system

Static charges are discharged through the earthed
connection nozzles. This prevents sparking and
electric shocks with electrically conducting acces-
sories (optional).

Dry vacuuming

 The device is fitted with a fleece filter bag with
lock latch, spare part item number 0702 400
071 (5 pieces).
Note
All types of dust up to dust class L can be vacu-
umed with this device.

The device is an industrial vacuum cleaner for vac-
uuming dry, non-inflammable dusts with AGW val-
ues greater than or equal to 1 mg/m
 An additional fleece filter bag can be used
when vacuuming fine dust.
Installing the fleece filter bag
1. Unlock and remove the suction head.
2. Fit the fleece filter bag.

Switching from wet to dry vacuuming
Applies only to the flat fold filter (cellulose):
ATTENTION
Switching from wet to dry vacuuming
Risk of damage to the flat fold filter.
Do not vacuum dry dust with a wet filter element
because this clogs the filter and can make it unus-
able.
1. Replace a wet filter with a dry filter before use.
2. Replace the filter as described under point
"Care and maintenance".
Note
A PES flat fold filter, spare part item number
0702 400 191, is to be used for wet vacuum
cleaning.

Wet vacuum cleaning

DANGER

Respiratory sicknesses through inhala-
tion of dust.
No dusts harmful to health may be vacuumed
when performing wet vacuum cleaning.
Installing the squeegees
1. Remove the brush strip.
