INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1 - Loosen the clip (4) from the stand foot, lengthening or shrinking the extendable part of the
stand manually, set the clamp (1) to the desired height and re-attach the foot clip (4).
2 - Loosen the clip (3) of the clamp and set it horizontally, x the clamp medium.
3 - Once we have the clamp at the desired height, horizontal, open and xed we can proceed
to lift the bike manually, when we hold the bike on the clamp we proceed to tighten said
clamp (2) according to frame type.
4 - Already fasten the bike with the clamp, loosen the side stick (3), look for the necessary
angle according to the inclination of the frame or the work to be performed, x the stick (3) of
the clamp to keep at the desired angle.
5 - The clamp has no tightening stop (2), the user must determine the pressure he needs
according to the work performed and the type of frame to be fastened.
It is important to know the type of frame to be fastened, as the carbon frames are weaker at
tightening.
*For this type of frame there is a special clamp (Goliath 360º Carbon) that allows to cover more
frame surface and reduce the e ort per square centimeter, it also has a softer polyurethane
protection and designed to prevent the frame from rolling even with less pressure.
(See our product catalog)
6 - With the raised bike we can rotate it on the axis of the desired clamp.
For this operation we only have to loosen the side loop (3) that secures the clamp.
Once the bike is in the desired position, proceed again to tighten the side loop so that it
remains xed in that position.
7 - Whenever we intend to rotate 180º (or other angle) we must make sure that the clamp has
the necessary pressure (2) on the frame so that it does not roll and can tip sideways.
To return to the starting position, simply loosen the side clip (3) again and hold the bike to its
plane position or the angle you want.
It is very important to make this operation of ipping the bike 180º simple and of
little e ort so that when you hold the bike you look for the most approximate
center of gravity.
8 - Once you have nished lifting and want to lower the bike to its starting position, you
should look for the horizontal plane of the clamp before opening it, once opened you can
lower the bike manually.
9 - Goliath Manual is ready to install all Goliath accesories.
HAZARD WARNINGS IN THE USE OF GOLIATH G2:
1 - Always place the bike in the elevator as centered as possible, always look for the approximate center of gravity.
2 - Do not hold the bicycle at the ends under any circumstances.
3 - Always hold the clamp in rigid areas of the frame, avoiding plastic beautifying housings or other weak areas.
4 - The stand must not be operated by children, only by adults.
MAINTENANCE:
1 - The stand does not need any speci c maintenance.
2 - The only grease point can be the clamp holder and tightening loop, which must be lubricated with a little grease,
petroleum jelly etc.
This greasing process should be done to the user's liking and although it is not necessary, if it contributes to the smoother
movements.
