About TCU700
Nobø TCU700 is a temperature-control unit
with radio transmitter and receiver. TCU700
communicates with heaters fitted with the
appropriate Nobø radio receiver, and is able
to simultaneously control temperature settings
for up to 10 heaters. Heaters designed for
connection to TCU700 will not work without
this unit.
TCU700 has an integral temperature sensor
and should be located on the wall in the same
room as the heaters it is wished to control. The
unit should be positioned close to the zones in
the room where the optimum heating control is
desired (e.g. near the seating). TCU700 must
not be located near draughty doors or windows
or near other heat sources which could locally
affect the temperature (e.g. an open fire or
direct sunlight). Fitting should be at a height of
approx. 120-150 cm above the floor.
You can use TCU700 to set comfort and
setback temperatures for the whole room. All
heaters linked to the unit will then comply
with the desired temperature. The unit allows
a choice between comfort temperature,
setback temperature, frost protection and
stop. TCU700 can in turn be controlled by an
Orion EC700 central control unit for weekly
programming.
