4. DEVICE MAINTENANCE

4.1. CLEANING THE DEVICE

CAUTION: Property damage
- Make sure the battery compartment cover is properly closed before cleaning the device.
- Do not immerse the device in water or any liquid whatsoever.
1. Rotate the cutting head counter-clockwise to disengage it from the base unit.
2. Clean the cutting head with the cleaning brush supplied.
3. Rinse the cutting head thoroughly under running water.
4. After complete drying of the cutting head, you can put it back on the base unit with the
protective over.
5. Place the BellCROSS clipper in its storage unit.

The base unit must be cleaned with a dry cloth.

4.2. BATTERY INSTALLATION

The BellCROSS clipper should only be used with 1.5v LR6 AA batteries.

1. Rotate the battery compartment counter-clockwise.
2. Replace the used battery, taking care to observe polarity. A polarity error may cause damage
and void your warranty.
- Never insert rechargeable batteries. Use disposable batteries. Do not mix new batteries with
used batteries.
3. Replace the cover.
Do not dispose of old batteries with household waste.
Bring your used batteries to a collection point.
If the battery is not used for a long period of time, be sure to remove the battery from
the device to prevent leakage of liquid that may damage the product.
