MAINTENANCE
Monthly maintenance is recommended. Lubrication is critical to lifting tool as they support heavy loads.
Any restriction due to dirt, rust, etc., can cause either slow movement or cause extremely rapid jerks,
damaging the components.
The following steps are designed to keep the lifting tool well lubricated:
1. Lubricate joints, linkages and the pump mechanism with oil and wheel axles with grease.
2. Do a visual inspection and check the lifting tool for cracked welds, bent, loose, missing parts and
check the hydraulics for oil leaks.
3. If the lifting tool has been subjected to abnormal stress or impact, take it out of service and have it
checked by a qualified person before use.
4. Clean all surfaces and maintain all labels and warnings.
5. Check the oil level and correct the oil level if necessary.
6. Check the hydraulic piston every 3 months for any signs of rust or corrosion. Clean it as needed and
wipe it with an oiled cloth.
7. Lift the device as high as possible without a load and look under and behind the moving parts. If signs
of rust are visible, clean them as needed.

USE
1. Close the release valve and bring the lift arm to working height.
2. Hold the lift arm extension (34) with one hand in position and pull the safety pin (13) out of the lifting
arm pin (33).
3. Choose the desired lifting arm length from the four possible (980-1070-1160-1250 mm). When
choosing the length, pay attention to the maximum possible lifting capacity (see chapter "Technical
data". The longer the lifting arm, the lower the lifting capacity.
4. Make sure that the holes of the lift arm and the lift arm extension are aligned and slide the lift arm pin
(33) through the holes of the lift arm and the lift arm extension.
5. Reposition the safety pin (13) into the hole of the lift arm pin (33).
6. Move the lifting tool to the load to be lifted so that the hook chain hovers in the middle above the load.
7. Fasten the load well balanced on the hook chain, using suitable straps, chains, slings, etc..
8. Lift the load and check that it is well balanced. It may be necessary to lower the load again and attach
the belt to another places.
