Diminished performance is possible. The high pressure
switch is a manual reset. The reset switch is located in
the condenser make-up air inlet on back of system.
Re-set unit by pressing the HP Reset button. Standard
air-cooled models are not designed to operate at
temperatures below 60º F, as these will cause freezing
and/or diminished performance and can void warranty.
CAPACITY AND TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
Size of unit is based on matching capacity to a specific
heat load while maintaining 72º F. In order to reach
temperatures below 7º F, unit must have extra capacity.
CAUTION! Do not set temperature set point
below 72º F, unless there is excess cooling
capacity beyond heat load, possibly causing
evaporator coil to freeze up.
AIR FILTERS
Unit comes with filters installed on the evaporator
inlet to prevent dust and debris from entering system
and circulating into conditioned space. Filters are
disposable and must be periodically checked and
replaced based on the air quality of conditioned space.
NOTE: Failure to maintain filters will cause
restricted air flow and low overall performance.
The air filter is located on front of unit below control.
Release two slotted fasteners on access door to open.
OPERATING ISSUE
Unit displays CF; audio
alarm fails to clear
on startup or while
operating.
Audio alarm fails to
clear on startup or
while operating, unit
displays FP.

MAINTENANCE
TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUSES
Internal condensate tank is full, or
condensate float switch jack is not
installed or not positioned correctly.
Water level switch is engaged.
Microprocessor has detected
freezing on the evaporator coil if the
system has a factory installed freeze
sensor. (Special order)
POSITIONING OF UNIT
Do not place A/C unit in direct sunlight. Position unit so
that the output of the unit can be focused as closely
to the heat generating equipment as possible with the
front grill fully exposed. Do not block the front of the
unit, since this will cause a restriction in airflow and can
cause low performance and/or evaporator coil freezing.
The A/C unit will take condenser make-up air from the
area of placement and cannot be ducted. The inlet
for the condenser make-up air is located in the rear of
the unit and will not allow for the back of the unit to be
placed flat against a wall or fixed object. Allow at least
5-6" between the inlet and a wall or fixed object. Failure
to do so will cause decreased performance and/or high
pressure safety trip.
FAULT CODES
A/C unit features a self-diagnostic system that sounds
an alarm, stops system and displays a fault code to
indicate the nature of the problem on the display panel.
See Troubleshooting below for further information.
CF = Condensate Tank Full
AL = High Pressure Switch Tripped
FP = Freeze Protection
RECOMMENDATIONS
Empty internal tank, unplug tank
plug and reinstall to ensure good
connections. System automatically resets
when fault condition is corrected.
Check for freezing on the evaporator coil
and turn the system off to let it thaw. Call
Uline Customer Service at 1-800-295-5510
if system is not equipped with a freeze
sensor. Auto resets upon correction.
