Safety Instructions
Always inspect the cable throughout its length for kinks, frays or any damage before each use.
Do not pull the cable around a corner.
Fix load securely; do not wrap winch cable around load.
Do not pull more than rated load. Never overload the winch.
Never lengthen the lever using a pipe for additional leverage. This can cause the winch lever to bend or
break.
Operate winch with at least 3 wraps of cable on spindle.
Always use an adequate sling, eyebolt or other accessory attached to the load to be pulled. Make sure there
is positive engagement of the winch hook to the load.
Do not lift any loads with this winch.

Extending the Cable
Secure the winch to a rigid anchor point. Pull the drive pawl spring in the direction of the arrow (see fig. 2,
detail A). Raise the handle and hold it firmly into position (see fig. 2, detail C). Press the stop pawl in the
direction of the arrow (see fig. 2, detail D) and pull until the desired slack is obtained.
