We congratulate you on the purchase of COMFORT cookware. Thank you for buying TESCOMA.
COMFORT cookware is a modern product made from high-quality material with an excellent finish for healthy, cost-saving, quick and comfortable
cooking of all common meals.
To make full use of COMFORT cookware's properties, read carefully these Instructions for Use before first use.
Cookware COMFORT characteristics
COMFORT cookware is made of high-grade 18/10 stainless steel refined down to the last detail. 18/10 stainless steel is a perfectly hygienic
material for the cooking and storing of meals.
With a modern design and a matt surface treatment, the COMFORT cookware is an elegant and practical option (easy maintenance) for
cooks and chefs of all ages.
The glass covers with holes for steam are designed for easy visual control over the cooking process eliminating the need to raise the covers
while cooking (and thus significantly economising on energy consumption!). The covers are unbreakable in normal use.
The set is supplied with an extra deep ∅ 24 cm frying pan.
The ∅ 24 cm cover fits both on the pot and the ∅ 24 cm frying pan.
All the vessels and covers are provided with comfortable solid handles of resistant plastic for easy grip and handling during the cooking process.
The handles do not burn if the cookware is used properly!
COMFORT is provided with a solid sandwich bottom, which gives the cookware a number of unique properties:
• The cooker can be set to low output, which represents substantial savings on energy consumption.
• The bottom has excellent heat accumulation properties – as a result, the cooker may be switched off even before you finish cooking for additional
energy savings.
• Heat is transferred from the cooker into the cookware evenly throughout the bottom for easier cooking without the risk of burned food.
• Meals left in COMFORT cookware after cooking preserve their temperature longer.
COMFORT is compatible with gas, electric and vitro-ceramic cookers.
The COMFORT set contains the following items:
Pot with cover ∅ 24 cm, 5.5 l
Casserole with cover, ∅ 20 cm, 3.0 l
Casserole with cover ∅ 18 cm, 2.0 l
Casserole with cover ∅ 16 cm, 1.5 l
Saucepan with cover ∅ 14 cm, 1.0 l
Frying pan ∅ 24 cm
Traditional cooking
Set the heat on the cooker to high temperature only for the initial phase of cooking. After 2 to 5 minutes, depending on the type of cooker, switch
it to low or medium output as a maximum and leave for the rest of the cooking process.
Turn off the cooker before the time needed for cooking has elapsed. The heat accumulation properties of the bottom ensure that heat will be
transferred to the cookware for a while even after the cooker has been turned off.
Make sure that the size of the cooking range does not exceed the diameter of the bottom.
If cooking on a gas cooker, the flame must not expand over the bottom; otherwise the handles may become hot or even get damaged. It is
recommended to use a dispersion net when cooking on gas cookers.
Always make sure that a minimum of steam escapes between the cover and the pot. Turn the cover slightly if the steam escapes
excessively or even set the cooker to a lower output. Try to avoid unnecessarily raising of the cover while cooking.
Always salt after the thermal treatment finishes to limit the depositing of white sediment inside the cookware.
Fat- and water-free cooking
The special features of COMFORT cookware make it possible, in addition to traditional cooking, to reduce the amount of or even completely eliminate
fat, water and salt in cooking while adhering to the strictest demands on health food and low-calorie diet. This is a way of making use of the fats,
juices and water naturally contained in the foodstuffs.
Fat-free cooking
You can make use of the fats naturally contained in foodstuffs and reduce excessive fat intake.
