MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning or maintenance operation, switch off and unplug the appliance. Ensure
it is perfectly cooled.
To remove the dust, wipe the appliance with a cloth.
Never use abrasives or detergents.
Bulb replacement
Unplug from mains supply.
Loosen the screws that fixed the back metal cover. And then take off the back metal
cover.
The G9 halogen bulb is located underneath (see the figure below). Remove the
defective bulb by pulling it out of the lamp holder, replace with a 25W G9 halogen
bulb. Take care not to touch the bulb with bare hands and ensure that the bulb is pushed
home.
To reassemble, follow the above instructions in reverse order.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom
No light from the fuel effect.
No heat or light.
Solution
Possibly a bulb failure. Remove the faulty
bulb as detailed above and check it in
a table lamp that is known to work.
Check the wall socket by plugging
in a known working appliance.
If socket is functional, and cord or plug is sus-
pected, have them checked by an electrician
