Operating times
Observe the times stipulated in local byelaws.
Check with your local authorities to determine if
there are any operating time limitations.
Guiding the cable through the strain relief
The strain relief in the control handle prevents acci-
dental disconnection of the extension cable.
Fasten the extension cable in the strain relief as
shown.
Mains socket connection (230 Volt, 50 Hz)
Risk of injuries or material damage.
Observe the mains voltage.
The power source voltage must
match the information on the device
identi cation plate.
Only connect to a socket, that is
protected by a 10-16 A slow-blow fuse
(or an MCB).

before switching on.

Cutting variants when operating
Cutting small areas of grass
Hold the device by the upper and middle handles.
Swing the device in semi-circles in front of the
body (without contacting the ground).

Edge cutting
The edge cutting function enables precise trimming
along the lawn edge.
Risk of injuries due to the cutting tool.
Only adjust the device with the motor
switched o and the cutting tool at a
standstill.
Press the locating knob
Rotate the grass trimmer upper part through 180°
to the left until it audibly engages
Hold the device by the upper and middle handles.
Guide the device along the lawn edge (without
touching the ground)
Adjusting the line
Press the running device brie y onto rm ground,
e.g. a paving stone using the press knob (pressing
down force about 3 kg). About 1.5 cm of cutting
line is automatically fed out.
