Assembly and preparation

Fitting the blade and chain
Pull the protective shield (1) in the direction
of the front handle (16) to ensure the chain
brake is not activated.
Remove the nuts (6) from the side plate (8)
over the chain wheel. Lift the side plate off .
Move the chain tensioner bolt right down
towards the chain wheel by turning the chain
tensioner screw (7).
Position the blade (3) on the chainsaw so that
the chain tensioner bolt fi ts in the hole.

Place the chain (4) around the chain wheel
and into the groove in the blade.
Check that the chain will run in the right
direction.
