A) Shut off the inlet water and disconnect fitting 1, 2, 3 and 4.
B) It is possible to use a screwdriver as a leverage in the fitting of the cap to simplify the operation.
Push the cap down until there is enough space to slip off the nylon thread using a flat screwdriver. Note
that in the valve body there is a shape allowing more space to operate with the screwdriver head; it's
recommended to operate in this area. If the cap is not moving down disconnect the valve from the system
pipeline, and try again.
C) Pull out the cap and the related o-ring.
D) Pull out the piston by using 2 pliers, using them to grab onto the lateral ribs placed at the base of the
piston. If operation is still difficult try to loosen the external connection opening (for outlet and inlet)
E) Remove the pipe collar closing Seeger ring
F) Remove the centering pipe collar and all the chamber's spacers. In order to maintain the proper sequence,
it is recommended to stack the various pieces on the inverted piston.
G) Check the integrity of the piston chamber and the various o-rings.
H) Reassemble everything, taking care to position the two Seeger rings, paying particular attention to the
one for the cap, which must be put into the seat by slightly forcing its expansion with pliers, and
checking that the safety spring goes into its seat without problems. In any case, it is recommended to
replace the Seeger ring with any maintenance.
