2.2.5.2 Crank adjustment (when running in a new product)
After using the new product for several days (intensive use) or for up to two weeks (normal use) after
purchase, the mounting bolts with which the left and right cranks are mounted must be tightened again
(see illustration below). To do this, first the plastic caps have to be removed using a flat screwdriver (step
1). After this the cranks have to be fixated onto the axle using a plastic hammer (step 2). If you use a metal
hammer, make sure the crank is covered with a piece of wood or plastic, otherwise it will be damaged.
Finally the bolts must be tightened using a wrench, with a tightening moment of maximum 30 Nm (step
3). Place the plastic caps back onto the cranks (step 4).
