C. Before the measurement, please take into consideration using
the Help Testing (J) if the meter functions correctly.
You will see, during the Help Testing, two measurement points,
marked with B (K) and T (L). First press the measurement pins (G)
at the first contact measurement point B (K), all measurement
lines on display (B) will start to flash. Then press the measure-
ment pins (G) at the contact measurement point T (L), the mea-
surement lines on the screen (B) should indicate on the left scale
19 %, on the right scale (+/- 1 %). When these specified values are
displayed, the meter is ready to be and it can be used.

USE OF MEASUREMENT FUNCTIONS

A. Introduce the measurement pins (G) in the testing material. The
measurement line (G) from the screen (B) indicates the humidity.
B. The scale / symbol from left (3) shows the humidity measured
in fuel wood, cardboard, paper, building wood etc..
C. The scale / symbol from right (5) shows the humidity measured
in mortar, concrete, plaster etc..
As soon as the measured value exceeds the maximum

LED LIGHT

For the LED light (F) which occurs in the lower part of device, press
for approximately 3 seconds the LED key, until the LED lits.
Pressing the LED button (I), it lits againg for a short period of time,
and then the LED light stops.

CLOSING AUTOMATISM

If you DON'T press any key of the device for approximately

30 seconds, this will automatically stop. Please note that
this function is deactivated as soon as the LED lamp is on (F).
REFERENCE VALUES FOR FUEL WOOD
AND CONCRETE / SCREED
Humidity of fuel wood:
15 % - 20 % humidity in order to reach the optimal combustion
values. With a humidity higher than > 25 %, the fuel wood should
be stored for drying. Thus, a better thermal value will be obtained
and the pollution of burning device will be reduced, due to com-
bustion gases reduction.

SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS

There might be function failures as a result of electrostatic
i
charges which might cause (wrong values or no values
displayed). There should be such a disturbance, remove all the batteries
for a short period of time and insert them again after approximately 5
minutes (please pay attention to polarity).
