Fully retract the awning and check
whether the folding arms (6) are
now parallel to each other. If this is
not the case, repeat the process
until the folding arms (6) are paral-
lel to each other.

Dismantling the awning

Dismantling
If you no longer wish to use the awning
or dispose of it, you must dismantle it.
WARNING! Risk of injury! At
least two healthy adults are
required for this step.

Troubleshooting

Error
Unwanted noise during
operation.
Awning does not close
properly on one side.

Maintenance

ATTENTION! Risk of injury!
Carry out the maintenance
work at regular intervals. Other-
wise, your safety and the safety
of others may be jeopardized.
Regular maintenance will
extend the service life of your
awning.
Cause
One or more screws have
become loose.
Check the adjustment of
the folding arm.

Safety tips and instructions
must also be followed during
dismantling.
Fully retract the awning before dis-
mantling it.
Tie the folding arms of the awning
together to prevent unintentional
unfolding. Unintentional unfolding
can result in damage or injury. You
can use the protective strap that
was attached to the awning when
you purchased it.
Follow the installation instructions
(see ► Installing the awning – 
p. 133) in the reverse order.
Remedy
Check all visible screws
and tighten them if they
are loose.
Reline the roll shaft on
one side with fabric for
more volume. Then ad-
just the folding arms
(► Adjusting the folding 
arms – p. 134)
Check the tightness of all brackets
regularly (1).
Double-check the tightness of all
bolts and nuts every six months. If
necessary, re-tighten them.
Never use the awning if it is dam-
aged or if the awning fabric (2)
does not stretch.
