D. Click "Finish" to create the configured RAID Setup.
When the RAID Setup is created, this will be shown in the main window of the RAID
Configuration software:
The created RAID Setup is now ready, but must be partitioned and formatted before you
can use it. See Chapter 7 for instructions how to format your new RAID Setup.
RAID-0 Info:
If you have created a RAID-0 (Striping) setup, you ALWAYS need to connect both hard
disks to the PCI-Express Controller card, otherwise your RAID setup will not be available
and can not be used.
RAID-1 Info:
If you have created a RAID-1 (Mirror) setup, you FIRST need to connect both hard disks
to the PCI-Express Controller card, before you insert the card in your notebook.
If you connect the hard disks separately while the card is already inserted, the software
will re-synchronize the hard disks again, which can take a while (depending on the size
of the used hard disks).
