2. Hardware installation

A. Turn off your computer and disconnect the power cable from the back of the
computer.
B. Open the cover of your computer by removing the screws on the back of the
computer.
C. Find a free PCI-Express slot in your computer and remove the corresponding back
plate.
D. Insert the CSATA2EXi
Controller Card gently in
the free PCI-Express slot.
E. Fasten the CSATA2EXi
Controller Card in the
back plate of the
computer with a screw
and screwdriver.
