Step 8: Install Cylinder Deadlock and Trim
Cylinder trim
For single cylinder
1. Insert the cylinder with decorative trim and press against the door face. Insert the tailpiece
horizontally through the latch hole.
2. Slide the mating trim onto the tailpiece and secure with machine screws.
Step 9: Mark Jamb
• Close the door until the latchbolt touches the door jamb. Mark the door jamb as shown with a
pencil.
• Center the strike plates on the door jamb.
