Put the switches in the desired setting. Generally you can start cooking with the switches in
grill & oven position (two switches activated). After that, chose the
position.
After having put the switches in the desired position, regulate the oven temperature with
the temperature knob situated on the upper side of the control panel (see picture page
2). The switch will illuminate, indicating that the oven is heating. As soon as the oven has
reached the desired temperature, the switch will go out.
The switches will come on and off during use. This simply indicates that the temperature
knob is regulating the oven's temperature.
When the food is ready, put the temperature knob and the switches in "0" position.
Carefully open the glass door, preferably using an oven glove.
Be very careful when removing the rack or the tray. These parts become very hot during
use and you might get burned.
Unplug the appliance after use.
USING THE COOKING PLATES
Make sure the temperature knobs are in the 0 position. Plug in the appliance.
Always use flat-bottomed saucepans, which make good contact with the cooking plates.
The saucepan bases should ideally be of the same size as the cooking plates.
To heat up the cooking plates, turn their temperature knobs (see picture page 2) to the
right.
Due to the cooking plates' construction, residual heat will remain after switching off. This
may be used to keep food warm for a short period.
After use, turn temperature knob to "0" and unplug the appliance.

CLEANING AND CARE

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance from outlet and allow it to cool down.
Inside cleaning of the oven
Wipe the tray and the rack with absorbent paper towelling or a soft cloth. To remove
baked on food pour a little cooking oil on the food and allow to stand for five to ten
minutes.
This should soften the food and allow it to be removed with absorbent paper towelling or
a soft cloth. If the above method fails to remove the food then we suggest wiping the
trays with a damp cloth and a little detergent.
Never use abrasive products nor steel wool. Never immerse the appliance in water and
make sure no water or damp can enter the appliance. Never clean the appliance with a
steam cleaner.
Make sure no water splashes on the glass door when the latter is still hot.
Outside cleaning of the oven and cooking plates
Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth.
Do not use steel wool, scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
Always keep the cooking plates dry; dampness can cause rust spots. Some special
products are also available for cleaning the cooking plates.
Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
