1.GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The user manual is designed to assist in the safe and
trouble-free use of the device. The product is designed
and manufactured in accordance with strict technical

2. USAGE SAFETY
ATTENTION! Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury or even death.
The terms "device" or "product" are used in the warnings
and instructions to refer to < IR Thermometer >.
2.1. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
a)
Do not touch the device with wet or damp hands.
b)
ATTENTION! DANGER TO LIFE! While cleaning, never
immerse the device in water or other liquids.
2.2. SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE
a)
If there are any doubts as to the correct operation
of the device, contact the manufacturer's support
service.
b)
Only the manufacturer's service point may repair the
device. Do not attempt any repairs independently!
c)
Regularly inspect the condition of the safety labels. If
the labels are illegible, they must be replaced.
d)
Please keep this manual available for future
reference. If this device is passed on to a third party,
the manual must be passed on with it.
e)
Keep packaging elements and small assembly parts
in a place not available to children.
f)
Keep the device away from children and animals.

2.3. PERSONAL SAFETY

The device is not a toy. Children must be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the device
2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE
a)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
b)
Keep the device in perfect technical condition.
Before each use check for general damage and
especially check for cracked parts or elements and
for any other conditions which may impact the safe
operation of the device. If damage is discovered,
hand over the device for repair before use.
c)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
d)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualified persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
e)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory-fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
f)
Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime
from accumulating.
g)
It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of
the device in order to change its parameters or
construction.
h)
Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
i)
It is recommended to remove the batteries from the
device if it is not used for a long time.

Do not expose the product to mechanical pressure.
k)
Keep unused batteries out of reach of children.
l)
When replacing the battery, ensure the polarity is
correct.

Do not direct laser beam at people and animals.
Non-compliance with this instruction may lead to
irreversible eyesight damage.

Do not look directly at laser lens. Non-compliance
with this instruction may lead to irreversible eyesight
damage.

If the IR thermometer is subjected to a thermal
shock during use (big or sudden changes in ambient
temperature), wait for about 1 hour before the next
measurement for the device to stabilize. Failure to
comply with this recommendation may result in
distorted measurement results.
p)
The
device
must
be
protected
against
electromagnetic radiation.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of accident or injury when using the
device. Stay alert and use common sense when using
the device.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is intended for contactless temperature
measurement
and
thermocouple
temperature
measurements. The product is intended for home use only!
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
unintended use of the device.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE / DEVICE USE
3.2.1 INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
1.
Pull the battery cover away from the handle shaft.
2.
Place the battery in the chamber, mind the correct
polarity.
3.
Close the battery cover.
Note: If the device display shows low battery and it
is necessary to replace the battery with a new one,
proceed in the same way as above.
3.2.2 CARRYING OUT MEASUREMENTS
NOTE: Before starting the measurement, make sure that
the emissivity factor currently selected on the device is
suitable for the material being measured. The value should
be compared with the emissivity table (3.3.4).
NOTE: Before making the measurement, make sure that
the surface to be measured is at least twice as large as the
device's operating radius. Increasing the distance between
the surface to be measured and the device results in
enlarging the test area.

1.
Make sure that the displayed emissivity value is
appropriate for the type of material being tested.
2.
Point the laser lens towards the surface to be
measured.
3.
Pull and hold the trigger to make a measurement.
4.
Release the trigger. The measured value will appear
on the display and stay there for a few seconds.
3.2.3 CHANGE OF MEASUREMENT SETTINGS
1.
Press the [4] button to change the function. Functions
change sequentially according to the formula: MAX>
AVG> MIN> DIF > LAL> HAL, where:
a)
MAX - maximum temperature measurement
b)
AVG - average temperature measurement
c)
MIN - minimum temperature measurement
d)
DIF - temperature difference measurement MAX /
MIN
e)
LAL - alarm signal of the temperature being lower
than the adopted scale.

Press the [5] or [6] button to increase or
decrease the temperature.

If the temperature is below the scale, LOW [
will appear on the display..
f)
HAL - alarm signal of the temperature being higher
than the accepted scale.

Press the [5] or [6] button to increase or
decrease the temperature.

If the temperature is above the scale, HI [
appear on the display.
2.
Starting the laser pointer
a)
Point the device towards the surface being tested.
b)
Press the [2] button. Pressing the button again will
cause the indicator to disappear.
3.
Change the measurement scale
a)
Press the [5] or [6] button to change the scale from
Fehrenheit to Celsius.
4.
Emissivity change
a)
Press and hold the [4] button for a few seconds, the
emissivity symbol will flash on the display.
b)
Press the [5] or [6] button to increase or decrease the
emissivity value.
c)
Press and hold the [4] button to save the settings
and exit the emissivity menu.
