Empty the grass box in good time.
Only with the engine switched off and the cutting gear
at a standstill.
1. Lift the grass box.
2. Lift the discarge flap.
3. Remove the grass box by pulling it backwards.
If the grass box is over-filled, the discharge channel in the
housing of the aerator becomes blocked and grass is left
lying on the lawn.
Put the grass box back into place and start the engine.
MAINTENANCE
Frequently check the mower and ensure that all grass
deposits are removed from beneath the deck.
Never clean the mower by pouring water over it: this
may seriously damage the electrical system.
Frequently remove the wheel screws clean whith pe-
troleum and oil before replacing. Ball bearings must be
greased before remounting.
Check connection lead for damage (replace damaged connection leads
Check switch-plug connection line for damage (replacement by service agent)
Check blade-fitting screw for damage (replace if damaged)
Check discharge flap for damage (replace damaged discharge flap)
Check collection bag for damage (replace damaged collection bag)
Sharpen or replace blades
Check for loose parts
Clean the scarifier
Before connecting up the scarifier to the electric power
supply, make sure that the mains supply voltage is 220-
230V/50Hz and that a ground fault interrupter is installed
on the mains circuit. Start the mower as follows:
- Pull the lever (12) up to lift the blade unit.
- Press the safety push-button (5) to enable mower
startup.
- Start the mower by pulling the lever (11) towards the
handle and keeping it pressed down. If you release the
lever, the motor will stop.
CAUTION! The blades starts turning as soon
as the mower is started
Before carrying out any operations on the cutting
tool, stop engine
Frequently check the blade for damage.
The lawn mower must be checked by a SERVICE
DEALER.
