connector into the shorter socket of the T-Connector harness,
pressing firmly to engage the locking tabs. Return the grey locking
tab to it's original position securing the 7-Way connector. Both the
OEM 7-Way connector and the
T-Connectors 4-Flat will now be functional.
For Vehicles Without a Factory Tow Wiring Connector:
3. Remove and save the protective cap covering the vehicle
harness connector taking care not to damage the locking tabs.
Clean the connector if necessary.
4. Insert the long T-Connector socket into the factory harness
connector. Firmly press the ends together until the locking tabs
engage. Position the protective cap removed in step 3 on the
shorter socket end of the T-Connector, pressing firmly in place
until the locking tabs engage.
For All Vehicles:
5. Confirm trailer harness operation with a test light or by using
a trailer.
6. Secure the T-Connector wires to the vehicle using the
provided cable ties.
