M54503 - EXP. CARD - 8I/4O relay
This is a descriptive manual of the procedure to insert and
configure the inputs/outputs expansion card (relay) of the
CVMk2.
You can download the complete manual in digital format
from www.circutor.com
Before any maintenance, modification to the
connections, repair, etc., the equipment must
be disconnected from the supply and the
measure connections. If wrong operation is
suspected the equipment must remain out of service. The
equipment is designed to changed quickly in the event
of any breakdown.
1. CARD INSTALLATION
Disconnect from supply and measure the device.
Remove the screw and the cover
Insert the card in the guides.
Press the card carefully.
Put the cover and the screw.
2. CARD SELECTION
When we have introduced the card, we have to configure it.

key and will enter in the alarm screen. (Section
2.1).
2.1. ALARM CONfIgURATIONS
The parameters of the alarms configuration have double
meaning depending on the electrical variable selected in
VAR.CODE
(It is not recomended to schedule output impulses with
relay).
Var.Code
: (See code table)
The entered code corresponds to an instantaneous variable
measured or calculated or an energy variable assigned to
an output impulse.
MAximUM
:
a) Maximum value of the variable to active the alarm.
b) This is the pulse value of this alarm.
Example:
W•h.
MINIMUM:
a) Minimum value of the variable to active the alarm.
b) This value has no sense with energy variable.
Delay ON
a) Minimum time in seconds that the condition has to be
true to activate the alarm.
000002
Example:
b) Number of blocks of 10 ms that will be activated the
alarm to generate the impulse ON.
Example:
200 ms.
Delay OFF
a) Minimum time in seconds that the condition has to be
false to deactivate the alarm.
Example:
3 s
b) Number of bloqs of 10 ms that will be desactivated the
alarm to generate the impulse OFF.
Example:
200 ms.

2.2. OUTPUTS CONfIgURATION
To configure the outputs we have to implement the equation
line with the alarms codes that we have configured in the
section 2.1
We can configure the equations with AND &/or OR
functions between one or more alarms.
We can configure the equations with one or more of the
16 alarms formed before in the section 2.1, to activate
the outputs.
