The dguard module's backup battery is designed to have

a service life of 10 years. Contact an authorised dguard
dealer once your backup battery has reached the end of its
service life. We will help you with the replacement.
NOTE!
Never disconnect the dguard
battery's power supply while making settings to the system
or carrying out a software update. A loss of the power
supply can, in such cases, lead to total failure of the dguard
system, which cannot be remedied by the user.
