Release the cover 17 by rotating it
in an anticlockwise direction using
a coin. Fit the supplied battery 32
with its positive-pole pointing out-
wards into the battery compart-
ment 16tfig. B. Then refit the
cover 17.

red signal lights, the camera is

Extending and retracting the lens
Fully extend the panel 3I . . . then
swivel it outfully and swivel it
back in*fig. C and D.
In order to retract the lens: swivel
. out the panel 3I . . . swivel it in by
pressing button I. . . and then sli-
de it infully -Jig. E and E
A filter and a lens hood are
not provided for the retrac-
table ond extensible lens.

Inserting thefilm
Pull up the lock 9 and open the
camera back 27. hess the rewind
button 6 outwards as shown inJig.
G and insert thefilm cartridge.
Rotate the rewind button 6 stightly
and then press it in. Withdraw the
film leaderfrom the cartridge and
insert it under one of the retaining
springs 39 *fig H. Swivel the pa-
nel 3I out and in several times in
order to tighten thefilm and to
wind it on to spool 33 (press re-
lease 2 if the spool does not rota-
te). Check that the perforated sec-
tions engage correctly with the
counter wheel 34. Close the back,
.firmly depress the lock 9 and
extend the lens.
Now, as shown infig. f, ahernqte-
Iy depress the shutter releale 2
and quickly swivel the panel 3I
in and out until "- f >" appears in
theframe counter 24 - /ig. K
If this number "l'will not appear,
reopen the back and insert the
film correctly.
The type ofJilm inserted will re-
main visible in the window 25.*
