- MAINTENANCE

5.1 Routine maintenance

WARNING!
• Before carrying out any maintenance work remove the PTO shaft (33) from the tractor and discharge the air from
the air tanks (17) by opening the air exhaust tap (18) placed under it.
• Before performing any maintenance, wear heat resistant gloves. The compressor head block (13), the copper hose
(21) and the pilot valve (4) get extremely hot.
Routine maintenance work is to be performed by operators.

5.1.1 Checking the oil level

• Check the oil level in the compressor by using the dipstick (9). A sight glass (10) can also be used to check the oil level.

5.1.2 Condensed water discharge from the air tanks (17)

• Open the air exhaust tap (18) located on the bottom of the tank and allow the condensed water to flow out.
• Close the valve as soon as air begins to come out.

5.1.3 Removing/cleaning the suction filters (8)

• Remove the cover to get at the filter element.
• Blow compressed air into the filter element.
• Put the cover again and fully tighten the screw.

5.1.4 Checking the oil level in the air lubricator (23)

• Check the oil level through the sight glass.

5.1.5 Adding air lubricating oil

• To relieve the air pressure up, turn the adjustment knob (19) anti-clockwise.
• Unscrew the lubricator oil cap (23) and fill with CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. anti-condensation oil or SAE 10 oil using the supplied
tip-container.
• Set the operating pressure to the desired value.
• Clean up any oil leaks.
IMPORTANT!
Do not use hydraulic oil or brake fluid as these may cause irreparable damages to the equipment.

5.1.6 Draining the condensation from the filter bowl

• Open the exhaust valve (25) located underneath the bowl.
• Let the condensation flow out.
• Close the valve as soon as air starts to come out.
IMPORTANT!
The pneumatic equipment will be damaged by coming into contact with condensation or by lack of lubrication.
