Pre-Installation Information

Check Contents

Separate all parts from the packaging and check each part
1
with the parts breakdown on the preceding panel. Make
sure all parts are accounted for before discarding any
packaging material. If any parts are missing, do not
attempt to install your Bradley Faucet-Mount Eyewash
Unit until you obtain the missing parts.
Supplies Required:
2
• Wrench
• Standard or Gooseneck Faucet with 55/64"x 27 thread,
15/16"x 27 thread or 13/16"x 27 thread connections.
Note: Due to the many types of faucet designs
available, the enclosed thread connections may
not fit your faucet. It may be necessary to purchase
the correct thread connections locally. Bradley has
provided a 55/64"x27 thread connection on the
4
Faucet Mount Eyewash adapter. Two additional
thread connections (15/16"x27 and 13/16"x27
thread) have been provided to fit most common
faucet designs. For additional adapter sizes,
3
please contact Bradley.
• Cold or tempered water supply (minimum 30 PSIG)
WARNING: To prevent scalding of the
eyes when eyewash is in use, it is
recommended that hot water supply
be disconnected OR that tempered
water be provided. A comfortable
eyewash water temperature range is
15° C - 35° C (60° F - 95° F). In
circumstances where chemical
reaction is accelerated by water
temperature, a facilities safety/health
advisor should be consulted regarding
the optimum temperature for each
application*.
