- Caution! The first time the water pump is connected
to the tank it must be primed by filling the intake line
manually. The same operation must be repeated each
time the circuit is drained, or after a prolonged period of
disuse.
10.3 Connection to a storage silo
If the mixer is to be connected to a storage silo, an optional
transfer system must be used, such as the model IMER TWISTER
or similar, which, connected between the silo and machine,
transfers all material automatically.
To connect the transfer system to the mixer, the optional filter
cover must be installed
(Code no. IMER 1107502):
- Remove the bag splitter grid or hopper grid.
- Install the cover and tighten the tie-rods of the connections.
11. START-UP(see fig.7)
- During work start and stop the mixer exclusively by
means of the ON/OFF switch.
3-PHASE VERSION
Turn the switch/inverter (ref.5) in one of the two directions, turn
the thermal magnetic switch (ref.1) to ON(1), the machine is
ready for operation. At this point, it is important that the direction
of rotation
of the auger (ref.6,fig.1), is in the direction indicated by the
arrow (ref.4); if not, turn off the mixer by setting the thermal
magnetic switch to OFF(2).
Reposition the switch/inverter. Restart with the thermal magnetic
switch set to ON(1). The direction of rotation should now be
correct to start work. As soon as the correct direction of rotation
of the auger is ensured, leave the switch/inverter in position until
the machine is to be moved. Then use exclusively the thermal
magnetic switch (ON/OFF) for operation.
PHASE 1:
-Set the ON/OFF switch to ON(1).
-Setting the quantity of water required for mixing by means of
the micrometric valve (ref.9,fig.1).
Adjust the flow meter (ref.10,fig.1):
to bring the water level to approx. 600 l/h.
-Set the ON/OFF switch to OFF(1).
PHASE 2:
- Load the pre-mixed dry material Take the bags of material and
place them securely on the bag splitter grid
(ref.12,fig.1), lift the two end corners of the bag to completely
empty the contents into the hopper (fig.6).

-At this point position a suitable container below the material
outlet and start up the mixer by means of the ON/OFF switch.

To obtain the required material consistency:
Optimise the quantity of the water delivered by means of the
micrometric valve, while the mixer is in operation.
Make small adjustments of approx. 1/2 turn, every 15 seconds.

this occurs, press the start pushbutton to resume operation.
To stop the machine in the event of an emergency, press the
red emergency button (ref. 3); all moving parts are shut down
