• Always switch off the appliance when you put it down
• Do not make modifications of any kind to this appliance.
• Do not use or install the hairdryer where it can come into contact with water
• Never operate the hairdryer if the connecting cable or supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an
authorised Vortice Service Centre.
• Always switch off the hairdryer after use and allow it to cool down before cleaning and maintenance.
• Do not cover the air intake or air outlet during use.
• Do not place the appliance, the connecting or spiral cable on hot surfaces.
• Do not use the appliance for heating the room.
• The appliance is not approved for use outdoors.
• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children.
• Specifications for the power supply must correspond to the electrical data on ID plate on the product .
• The slots and openings on the appliance are for ventilation. Do not cover or block them as it could lead to
overheating.
• NEVER let children push anything into the holes or slots of the hairdryer.
• Regularly inspect the appliance for visible defects. If any are found, do not operate the appliance; contact your
Vortice Service Centre immediately.
• If the appliance does not function correctly or develops a fault, contact your Vortice Service Centre imme-
diately.
• Should the appliance be dropped or suffer a heavy blow, have it checked immediately by your Vortice
Service Centre
• If the appliance falls into water, DISCONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY IMMEDIATELY. Do not reach into the
water until the power has been disconnected.
• Never block the air vents at the rear of the hairdryer, and do not place them on a soft surface. Keep the air
vents free of dust, hair, etc. Do not insert any objects into the air vents.
• Do not use outdoors, or where aerosol products are being used.
• Do not place the appliance in a place where it could fall into water or another liquid
• The sound pressure level for hairdryers for professional use is less than 70 dB (A)
• Do not place the unit in a place where it could fall into water or other liquids.
• Always switch off the unit when it is placed on a surface
• This unit complies with European directives 2014/30/EU, 2014/35/EU, 2011/65/EC, 2009/125/EC and EC
regulation 1275/2008.
• Do not direct hot air towards eyes.
• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, shower, basins or other vessels containing water.

Installation

• Remove your hairdryer carefully from the box and check that the installaton accessories are there
• Loosen and remove the screw under the bracket. (fig.2)
• Swing the cover upwards and remove it
• For marking the holes hold the wall bracket to the wall position where the wall bracket shall be mounted.
• Drill the wall in the 3 points marked with a 6 mm drill and insert the wall plugs. (fig.3)
• Fix the wall bracket at the three marked holes using the supplied screws .
• Pass the wires in the central hole for back side wiring (fig.4) or flip the plastic tab on cover for under side wiring
(fig.5)
• Place the cover back in place.
• Fix the cover with screw .
• Insert the appliance and turn on the main power switch on the bracket.

Use

• Remove the appliance from the wall bracket.
• Choose the desired hot air temperature (1 or 2) or cool shot (COOL) by switching the 3-step switch. (Only for
VORTPHON 1600 model)
• Push the ON button to run the appliance.
• When finished release the button and reposition the appliance back in the wall bracket.
