Criteria for discarding clothing:
Cut-protection clothing whose cut-protection lining has been damaged or
modified may no longer be used! Items of clothing which are damaged or
modifies due to other causes must be discarded immediately. See also the
notes on discarding undamaged clothing in Section 2 of these instructions.
This cut-protection clothing complies with EU Directive 89/686/EEC.
6.
Applicable standards:
A) EN 381, Part 5, Design A, Class 1, 20 m/s
Protective area over the entire front of both trouser legs plus 50 mm
on both the outside of the left leg (side seam) and on the inside of the
wearer´s right leg (inside seam). Protection of the abdomen approx.
20 cm upwards from the crotch with a gap of approx. 3 cm in the middle.

Weight:
The weight of a pair of trousers 806677, size M (waist approx. 98 cm,
leg length approx. 80 cm) is approx. 1700 +/- 100 g. Other types and
sizes vary accordingly.
8.
Choosing the right size:
PFANNER offers cut-protection clothing in various styles and sizes.
The range is large. Trousers, for example, are available with waist from
78 cm to 120 cm and corresponding leg lengths. Choosing the correct
size and fit is essential for maximum personal protection.
As a general rule, garments should be selected so that they do not
restrict movement in any way. At the same time, they should not be
too wide in order to avoid the risk of catching on branches, etc.
9.
Storage and transport:
The cut-protection clothing is supplied packed in a protective plastic
bag. It should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated room. Avoid extremes
of temperature and exposure to liquids or UV light (e.g. display windows).
10.
Spare parts:
Patching fabric, braces, trouser catches, zippers.
