Keep lighting equipment away from the camera.
If you have lighting equipment near the camera, the
heat emitted from the lighting equipment may cause
deformation or failure to the camera.
Dirt on the cabinet should be wiped out lightly
with a soft cloth.
Most surface of the cabinet is made of plastics.
Wiping it with benzine and thinner may cause the
painted film to deteriorate or come off.
NEVER use pesticide near the camera.
Never use pesticide or other volatile components
near the camera.
Or, never leave rubber or vinyl products in contact
with the camera for a long time.
This may deteriorate the surface of the cabinet.
HOW TO CONNECT
Colour CCD
camera
(with built-in
condenser
microphone)
• The audio input connector of cable unit A is not for use
with the colour CCD camera in the CU-V803 KIT.
• You can connect an external appliance to the audio input
connector of cable unit A, however, the microphone input
and the audio input cannot be used at the same time.
HOW TO ATTACH
• Notes about attachment:
If you attach the camera to a wall, do not leave the cables slack. Children may
trip on the cables, which can cause the camera to fall, resulting in injury or
damage.

PRECAUTIONS FOR HANDLING
Notes about the AC adapter:
Be sure to connect the provided AC adapter to the
colour CCD camera via the provided cable units.
Do NOT connect the AC adapter directly to the
camera, otherwise, the voltage will be unstable and
cause serious damage to the camera circuit due to
excessive voltage.
Notes about the CCD camera:
The camera is not water-resistant. Do NOT use the
camera in places subject to rain, water or moisture.
Do NOT push the lens strongly or apply any shocks.
The picture colour tone may look different under
fluorescent lights.
There may be some video noise under minimum
illumination or due to a dark object's shadow image.
The picture may become temporarily distorted while
the electronic iris adjusts itself in response to an
abrupt change in the quantity of light.
Cable terminals can
be connected to
either end of the
wiring cable because
they have no polarity.

Attaching the cable units
Notes about the cable units:
1. There may be some interference if you use more
than one cable unit at the same time. Keep the
cable units as far away from each other as
possible while using them.
2. The picture may pick up some interference from
external electromagnetic waves or other
electrical wires through the provided wiring
cable. Keep the wiring cable as short as possible
for the connection and keep it away from the
source of interference.
3. If the wiring cable is bundled during use,
optimum results may not be obtained due to
mutual interference from the cable. Do not leave
extra length of the wiring cable bundled.
