CONFIGURATION
An improved calibration of the Speed Sensor Factor can be achieved with the "SSF Self-calibration" function, which calculates the
factor automatically, detecting the impulses in real use conditions of the equipment (seed drill, monitor, sensors, etc.):
1)
Place two signals at 100 m one from the other. Choose a reference point on the tractor or equipment to indicate the start
and end of the path.
2)
Place yourself at the height of the first signal, taking the tractor as reference.
3)
Select the following page of the monitor: CONFIGURATION
CONFIGURATION
4)
Press OK to start the procedure
5)
Perform the set path (100 m or 328 foot) and stop when the tractor reference reaches the second signal.
6)
Press OK to stop the procedure
7)
Press OK to confirm the value or ESC to cancel the procedure.
8)
Once the value has been accepted, the "Speed Sensor" Menu updates the SSF
value with that calculated by the "SSF Self- -calibration procedure.
