the scale before switch on. Press the zero / tare button on the scale. If the scale
is not set to the correct mode, select it by pressing the zero / tare button for three
seconds and then select the mode. Place the object or food to be weighed on the
scale. The LCD display will show the weight in the selected unit of measurement.

empty liquid container on the scale. Press the zero / tare button to reset. Pour the
liquid into the container. The LCD display will show the volume in the selected unit
of measurement.
Zero and tare function Fig.F-G
To weigh more pieces without removing them from the scale, place the first piece
on the scale and weigh it, then press the zero / tare button to reset the display.
Place a new piece without removing the first one. The display will show only the
weight of the second load. This operation can be repeated several times.
The "zero" function is active when the sum of the different loads is equal to or less
than 200g: in this case the maximum capacity will remain unchanged (5000g).
When the sum of the loads on the scale is more than 200g, the "tare" function is
activated (a "T" appears at the top left of the display): in this case the sum of the
weight of the loads is subtracted from the maximum capacity of the scale already
on the scale.
Shut off Fig.H
The scale turns off automatically when it has not been used for more than two
minutes.
Indicators Fig.I
The display shows the word "Lo": the battery must be replaced
The display shows the word "Err": overload. Remove the load to avoid damaging
the scale. The maximum capacity of the scale is 5000g.
Replace battery
When the scale does not light up and the message "LO" appears on the display
or the scale operates abnormally, it means that the batteries are low and must be
replaced.
Paying attention, open the battery compartment on the back of the scale, remove
the exhausted battery and replace it with one with the same technical characte
ristics, and respecting the correct polarity, then close the battery compartment.
