Safety instructions
The user manual is part of the product and contains important information for correct use.
• Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.
The user manual must be available for uncertainties and passing the product.
• Keep this user manual.
Danger to life due to electric shock!
Have installation, assembly, disassembly, maintenance and repair work carried out only
by trained electrical specialists. Improper installation may endanger:
• Your own life,
• The lives of the users of the electrical system.
With improper installation, you risk serious damage to property, e.g. due to fire. You risk
personal liability for personal injury and property damage.
The following specialist knowledge in particular is required for installation:
• The applicable "5 safety rules": Disconnect, secure against reconnection, determi-
ne absence of voltage, earth and short-circuit, cover or isolate adjacent live parts.
• Selection of suitable tools, measuring equipment and, if necessary, personal pro-
tective equipment.
• Evaluation of the measurement results
• Selection of electrical installation material to ensure disconnection conditions
• IP protection classes
• Installation of the electrical installation material
• Type of supply network (TN system, IT system, TT system) and the resulting con-
nection conditions (classic earthing, protective earthing, necessary additional mea-
sures, etc.)
• Do not open the housing.
• Do not modify product and accessories.
• Do not insert objects into air vents or sockets!
A defective device must not be put into operation, but must be immediately secured
against accidental further use.
• Use product, product parts and accessories only in perfect condition.
• Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, microwaves,
vibrations and mechanical pressure.
• In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and other problems,
non-recoverable by the documentation, contact your dealer or producer.
Motion detectors are not suitable as a component for alarm systems within the meaning
of the German association of property insurance (VdS). You can trigger false alarms if
the installation site has been chosen unfavorably.
• Use only EN 60998-2-1 and EN 60998-2-2 approved terminals.
• Follow local installation and building regulations.
Not recommended for children and people with physical and / or mentally limited capa-
bilities.
• Secure packaging, small parts and insulation against accidental use.
• Install the system and devices attached to it in a way that persons cannot be inju-
red, or objects not be damaged for example by dropping or stumbling.
• Regularly check the tightness of the product / screws.

Connection
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
• Have open cable ends connected ONLY by an experienced electrician.
• Do not touch any live parts!
• Always de-energise all circuits before working on the unit!
1. Before working on the product, disconnect it from the power supply, switch off the
fuse and secure it against being switched on again.
2. Check with a voltage tester whether the cables to be wired are really voltage-free.
3. Install the cables as shown in the following connection drawing:
4. Fit the protective cap and the strain relief using a Phillips screwdriver.
5. Mount the motion detector according to the following illustration (ceiling height:
2.2 - 4 m):
The detection range is 360° at a distance of max. 6 m.
6. Put the fuse back on.
7
Operating
On motion you can adjust the lighting time (TIME) and photosensitivity (LUX).
1. Adjust the lighting time by turning the knob for
light duration (1).
Turn the knob in the direction of the plus (+) to in-
crease the lighting time.
Turn the knob in the direction of the minus (-) to
shorten the lighting time.
2. Adjust the light sensitivity by turning the knob
for light sensitivity (2).
